With the new year fast approaching, PEI 2014 is getting set to kick off its 2014 celebrations for what is sure to be an exciting year in PEI! 2014 will mark the 150th anniversary of the 1864 Charlottetown Conference and PEI 2014 is celebrating with more than 150 festivals, events & programs forming a year-long, province-wide celebration.

PEI 2014 is kicking things off in just a few short days with its New Year's Eve celebrations in Charlottetown! If you find yourself on the Island this holiday season, join us for NYE 2014 Outdoors, an evening of FREE family festivities, musical performances, Children's Playzone, buskers, and fireworks -- an excellent way to begin the 2014 celebrations!

Celebration ZoneCelebration Zone

July 1 - Sept 7 Located on the beautiful Charlottetown waterfront, the Celebration Zone will be a hub of celebratory activities with daily concerts featuring artists from across Canada, culinary adventures, interactive walking tours, children's activities, cultural exhibits, and so much more.

July 1 PEI has long been the place to be on Canada Day, but in 2014, with top-notch Canadian artists performing and one of the largest fireworks displays in the country, the commemoration of our nation's birth will be bigger and more spectacular than ever!

Aug 28 - Sept 8 Step back in time during Founders Week, as the Tall Ships sail into port. Docking in both Charlottetown & Summerside, climb aboard to dine with the Captains, take a tour of these majestic ships of old, and watch the stunning Parade of Sail as the vessels make their way into the harbour.

Dec 31 Enjoy a retrospective of a wonderful celebration year as we bring the PEI 2014 celebrations to a close on New Year's Eve in Summerside. Join us for the PEI 2014 Finale as we look back and pay tribute to a celebration 150 years in the making.
